Hi, I'm Luke founder and head coach at APEX Running & Fitness. Running has been a big part of my life for many years, and I genuinely enjoy helping others through the lessons and experiences I've gained along the way. Supporting people as they build confidence, improve their fitness, and work toward their goals is what I value the most about coaching.
My own journey within the running world has taken me across a wide range of distances, from a brisk 5km, to Half Marathons, road and trail Marathons, through to Ultra-Endurance races. Over the years I've competed in some of Australia's most demanding events, including the iconic Coast to Kosciusko 240km ultramarathon.
In 2024, I represented Australia at the IAU Asia & Oceania 24H Track championships, covering 231km. Building on that I went on to win the Australian 24H Track Invitational, with a distance of 237km, which earned me selection to represent Australia in France at the 2025 IAU 24H World Championships.
Alongside competition, I've also used endurance challenges as a way to give back. As part of a fundraising initiative, I completed a 24H Lawn Mower Push, covering 141km to raise funds and awareness for Make-A-Wish Australia.
Alongside my running endeavours, I proudly serve as a Physical Training Instructor In the Army, which enriches my professionalism and expertises as a coach. In my personal life, I am a devoted family man, married with two wonderful children, whom I strive to inspire everyday.

All training is delivered through Final Surge, where sessions are updated regularly from week to week and adjusted based on how you’re progressing.
